The following information was obtained from pushtimarg.net and can be useful in certain decisions about seva. However, the first port of call to clarify any such matters should be one's gurudwar.

Sri Vallabhacharya says:

Svadharmacharnam shaktya
and Sevanam sva-yogyaanusaarena, alpam bahu va na prayojakam.

It means:
One should follow his dharma according to his Shakti.
One should perform Seva as per his Yogyata, doing Seva more or less is not intended.

Sri Purushottamacharan, in the commentary of Siddhantarahasya, has shown different types of Samarpan. Here he says that when it becomes difficult to do direct Samarpan, one can do so by the mean of Nivedan only. In such case Nivedan will be considered as Samarpan. In the light of above statements you have two ways to live Samarpit life.

Do not cook twice. Offer enough Saamagri in morning Seva and consume it in the evening.

Or

Offer Saamagri by the way of Nivedan, Mandir-Bhog etc.

jai jai shrigokulesh

jagdishbhai, for the first pada "Svadharmacharnam shaktya "
Sva-Dharam-Aacharanam Shaktaya....now one might ask a question that what is our Swa-Dharma! one's own religion? so here we are pushtimargiya sevak-vaishnavas, and we will be accepting pushtimarg as our religion.

But again one might ask a question that There are Deh-Dharma And AatmaDharma, which relates to one's own dharma. Then which should we consider? The Deh Dharma - religion-works related to our body? or aatma dharma - religion related to our soul........What dharma?

In Bhaktivardhini Granth, ShriMahaprabhuji gives orders :

"Bijdhadhyarprakarastu Gruhe Sthitva Swadharmaat ||
Avyavrutto Bhatkrishnam Pujaya Shravanadibhihi || 2 ||"

which means ::---But the way to make this see take firm root is to remain a householder and follow one’s rule of life. The one who is not distracted should devote himself to Krushna by means of ritual image worship and be hearing and so forth (- viz follow the Navadha Bhakti). Even one who is distracted should fix his mind constantly on Hari by practicing “hearing” and so forth..

ShriChaturthkumar Shrimad Gokulesh Prabhucharan now here gives the following orders..........

To make bijbhaav strong (Bijdhadhyarprakar) you (tu) is the way (to) without doing other sang (avyavrutto) regarding own religion (swadharmaat) in house (gruhe) stay (sthitva) with pooja (pujaya) with shravan etc (shravanadibhihi) Krishna's (krushnam) to do bhajan (bhajet) Here shrimahaprabhuji gives the aagyna "To make one's bijbhaav strong you should not do any others sang regarding own religion but stay in own house and do bhajan and shravan etc of ShriKrishna. "

With the word "TU" in BijdhadhyaprakarasTU shrimahaprabhuji means to say that by no other means, but only by one way. Swamargiya bhajan is not possible by any other means, but is only possible by "Gruhe Sthitva" i.e. by staying in one's own house only. Shrimahaprabhuji says that saty in house by using word "Gruhe Sthitva " in the sloka. Now for bhagwad bhajan we have to make our own house anukul (adjustable) in such a manner that "Gruhe Sthitva Swadharmat Krisnam Bhajet " for krishna bhajan make house adjusted for performing swadharma. Here by "Swadharma" it doesnot mean by dharmas of varnas and ashramas. Why ? the varnashram dhramas are not one dharma. How to know this? There r 2 types of dharmas

Sharirparyeyvasayi - Related to physical body
Aatmaparyeyvasayi - Related to soul

These dharmas r restricted to sandhya-vandan till yoga-yagya which fruits only till indralok. And when period of these fruit completes, then again the circle of birth til death continues. Also same is been said in ShriGItaji

Kshine punya martyalokam vishantiti | (9-21)

which results to only fulfill bodily(material) desire but does not help soul to enjoy parlok (upper heaven)

Jai Jai ShriGokulesh.

Now, by the word "Swa" in "Swadharmata" relates to Aatma (SOul). So the 2nd type of dharma Aatmaparyeyvasayi is been told and this is only Bhagwad dharma . Now one can argue that this aatmaparyeyvasayi is bhagwad dharma ,.... how can you say this? For this question, the aagyna Dadaji gives example of 7th skandha of Shrimad Bhagwad from prasang of Prahlad (7.9.11)

"Yadyajjano Bhagwate Viddhyiti Manan
Tacchaatmane Pratimukhya Yatha Mukhshriiti ||"

Means : - The words of Prahlad are "Just as the beauty of a human also reflects in the mirror image of that human, similarly the human however serves his lord, he also gets the same service....."

Also in Phal-prakaran of Raasmandal the Bhushan Roopa ShriVrajswaminiji's says (10.29.29)

"Kurvanti Hi Tyayi Ratim Kushala Swa
Aatmanityapraye Patisutadibhirartidya Kimiti || "

Means : - ShriVrajswaminiji's Says "The Smart humans always loves their priya Aatmaroopa ShriHari, more than their importance of husband, kids, who gives pains & sorrows?"

Now by "Swadharmata" the self religion (aatmaparyeyvasayi) in this word dharma is been added by "TA" pratyay "DharmaTA" becayse by adding TA which is avayyay, and in sanskrit if after any waord any avayyay is added, then that word cannot be differed, means becomes non-changable so in the word "SwaDharmaTA" it is non changable meaning has no vikaar-loops-nirgun. So by Swadharma, ShriMahaprabhuji means to give orders as bhagwad dharma, without any dosh.........................

Jai Jai ShriGokulesh,

This is what Shrichaturthkumar Shrimad Gokulesh prabhucharan has given orders in Bhaktivardhini.

NOw let us understand Verse of Sarvanirnaya prakaran Nibandh Granth 238

Swadharamaacharanam Shaktya Vidharamaacha Nivartanam..

Here ShriMahaprabhuji has very specifically orders for the necessity of Swadharama -- for this main Stanza, ShriMahaprabhuji Himself has created the Prakash named commentry, in which He explains swadharma as Swadharma Agnihotradaya:

ShriPurushottamji says Swadharmanam dehdhharmanam Varnashram-adhikar-siddhanam-acharanam yatha shaktya kartavyam, na to shaktaavapi sankocha. Also further ShriPurushttamji says : yada puna: bhagwad-bhaavam prapta: tada alaukik-dharma: ribhashadishu gocharyaday: swadharma: anye pardharma iti...

Entering Bhagvan Mandir:

First pay respects by doing naman/dandvat, then say the following shlok...

Bhagvad Dham, Bhagvan Namaste alankaromi tat..1

Angeekuru Harerathe Kshantva Paadopa Mardanam ...2

Then seek forgiveness of the mandir knowing the mahatmya, remembering Nand, Sunand and other dwarpals.

If Baal Bhaav is present in seva ten do bhavna and remember Shri Yashodaji, Shri Rohiniji, Sakhas, Gopa, Gopis, etc who have come to do darshans.

If Nikunj lila is present in seva then remember Lalita, Vishakha and other sakhijan, and then do naman in mind.

Then do vinanti as follows:

I am Shri Acharyaji's daas/daasi. Please look towards Shri Acharyaji, Shri Gusaiji and through their Kaani keep me in seva with you. With your krupa may Prabhu grant me his divine darshan, pray this way.
