Jai Shree Krushna Vallah Vaishnavs

Hetalji, since you have requested to share Friday satsang with you all on tibari, I thought we use the same approach as Pusthidasji in satsang and start of with asking a couple of question before indulging in the topic. A few weeks ago we were asked why Swaroop Seva was introduced in Pusthimarg? What does swaroop mean?

Vaishnavs please participate and post your thoughts on Tibari

Thanks

Jai Shree Krishna

What is happening? I am sure this is a very simple question. We are in Pushtimarg and it should not difficult to answer this question.

Wake up dear vaishnav and put your thoughts on the sitr.

Jai Shree Krishna,
The word swaroop is split into two syllables. SWA-Self, of own ROOP-Form.
So seva (service) of ones Sevya Swaroop is seva of ones own Thakorji. Please Vaishnavs correct me where I may be mistaken and do contribute to the topic.

Jai Shri Krishna

very nice topic.

these are some thoughts, please excuse any misunderstandings and kindly help to correct the same.

One thought is that the swaroop is actually the projection of the Thakorji who is residing within us (each individual has His own Thakorji/parmatma) and hence the swaroop is His actual projection from within us and it is His seva that we are/should be doing.

Jai jai shri gokulesh

Swaroop seva means the service that is performed for Shri Thakoreji with ones own body, one's own wealth and in one's own house. It is known as "TanuVittaja Seva".

Jai Shree Krishna,

Thanks to Pusthidasji, Palnaji, Jagdishji and Unnatiji for contributing to this topic

Pusthi Souls are originally from Kunj and were created to participate in Thakorji’s play. We were all produced for his seva and since the day of our creation, we have been indulging in Krishna’s seva in Kunj. However, when we came down to Earth, we forgot our identity and our Dharma, which is Krishna Seva. If we don’t know how to do Krishna seva then how will we be qualified to go back, and carry on with our originally duty which was designated to us in Kunj? If we don’t get to know our darling Thakorji then how will we imbibe with him in his play?

Hence, Mahaprabuji introduced seva in Pustimarg so we start practicing and develop ourselves for our destination, which is Thakorji. His seva helps us to keep our chit with him as we are daily, directly involved with him. It also helps us to develop our love and faith in him and enables us to reach the phase of vyasan

Three stages one goes through

1. Prem: You fall in love with the swaroop you are doing seva of

2. Asakti: Your faith increases day by day in that particular
swaroop

3. Vyasan: Finally you get addicted to that swaroop and cannot
live without him. He will constantly be on you mind,
which will then lead to mansi seva.

Thakorji gets married to us via Brahmasaband, afterwards comes to live with us and teaches us about Pusthimarg and seva so we are prepared, when we go back to our original home. Finally when the time comes and we are qualified to go back, he will send a doli and accept for us to reside with him eternally

There is a story of how Pusthi souls ended up on Bhutal (earth). Can anyone narrate this story please?

Jai Shri Krishna,

Sitalji, according to the vartas we read we know that the pushti souls have fallen on this bhutal is due to some dosh or apradh committed knowingly or unknowingly.

But due to the grace of Shri Swaminiji and Shri Thakurji Shri Mahaprabhuji had taken birth on this bhutal for us to guide and teach us the way back to Shri Thakurji.

Jai Shri Krishna,

Sitalji are you looking for this story!

Once Shree Thakurji who is very mischevious (Natkhat) played raas Lila with the Gopshakas(Gop & Gopies aka as Devi Jivo's) and that too without Shree Swaminiji. When Shree Swaminiji got the knowledge of this she came thumping her feets her payal's voice the Gopsakhas and all including Shree Thakurji got scared as they had displeased Shree Swaminiji and due to this all the people start to hide somewhere but there was no place there to hide.

Well at that time Shree Lalitaji who was there present asked all the Gopsakasto get transformed into Kalis (Buds of Flowers) and Shree Lalitaji transformend herself into a Thread which holded all the Kalis together which became a complete Malaji. Then Shree Thakurji Adorned that complete Malaji which was basically the Devi Jeevo's as Kalis and Shree Lalitaji as Thread. Shree Swaminiji arrives and askes to Shree Thakurji whether he was playing Raas Lila without her hor not…

Shree Thakurji who is very smart said 'No Priya how could I play Raas without you who is always besides me'. Now Shree Swaminiji wasn't going to believe Shree Thakurji that easily cos Shree Swaminiji very well knew how her Pran Priya Shree Thaklurji was. Shree Swamini then decided to check Shree Thalkurji's Shringar. Its importanat to know that Shree Swaminiji is the one who selected and did the Shringar of Shree Thakurji. Shree Swaminiji checked each and every shringar that Shree Thakurji had adorned. Then Shree Swaminiji noticed an extra malaji on Shree Thakurji's Shree Aang (Body).

Shree Swaminiji while talking to Shree Thakurji quickly pulled out that Malaji and while pulling all the Devi Jeevos who were in the form of Kali's fell down on the Bhulok (Earth). All that remained in Shree Swaminiji's hand was that Thread which holded all the Kali's together ie Shree Lalitaji.

All the Devi Jeevos who fell on Bhulok were in imense pain as they felt the pintch o loosing Shree Thakurji. On the other hand Shree Thakurji was also sad has he lost all his Shakas and Gopies. Shree Swaminiji who saw her Priya sad too felt sad as Shree Swaminiji till some extent felt that she was resoponsible for all this. Shree Lalitaji who was actually was sad didn't showed her sadness to Shree Thakurji and Shree Swaminiji she did seva of both and didn't wanted to show that she too was feeling sad.

Then one day Shree Swaminiji decided that she herself would go to Bhulok and find out all the Devi Jeevos and send them back to Shree Thakurji. This was the initial stage of the Pragtya of Shree Mahaprabhuji. Shree Swaminiji came on the earth as a child of Shree Laxman Bhattji and Shree Illabagaruji (Parents of Shree Mahaprabhuji) . So in the remote forests of Champaran (Presently in Uttranchal) the Pragtya Leela took place. Some history of Shree Laxman Bhattji is that Aapshree were a Bhraman and had got the Vardan (Boon) by while performing Yagnya that in his house Shree Thakurji will come for the Uddhar of Devi Jeevos so it began and then on Chaitra Vad Ekadashi Shree Mahaprabhu came on this earth as a child just like Shree Thakurji with all its glory and charm.

But there is a story which is related to the birth of Shree Mahaprabhuji. When Shree Acharayaji was born the baby was a still born and Shree Illabagaruji thought that the baby is dead and they left the baby in the forest and moved forward. Then Shree Acharayaji gave darsan to Shree Illabagaru saying that I'm alive and still in the forest. Shree Acharayaji had protected himself with a fire which sourrounder him to form a circle to protect the baby form the wild animals of the forest. Shree Illabagaru when arrived was very much pleased o see her small child wa salove and named him Vallabh Shree Acharayaji grew up and after the death of Aapshree's Pritucharan Shree Acharaji decided to complete the wish of his father which was to do Prithvi Parikarma and left house.

Then once when Shree Mahaprabhuji was resting at that time he suddenly felt concened about the Devi Jeevos as Shree Mahaprabhuji' s concern was Shree Thakurji's concern Shree Thakurji himself appeared and then on one of the most holy day of Sharavan Sud Ekadashi (Pavitra Ekadashi) Shree Thakurji gave Shree Mahaprabhuji the sacred Bhramsambandh Mantra which actually means that it has been ages since we have been apart form Shree Thakruji and the love that we are supose to have is hidden in us and this mantra helps us to find that lost love back for Shree Thakurji and always see for the Sukh of Shree Thakurji. The very first Vaishnav to get this Mantra was Shree Damodardasji whom Shree Mahaprabhuji used to call very lovingly 'Damla'. And thus begin the story of Shree 84 Vaishnav (Shree Choriyashi Vaishnav). And with this Shree Mahaprabhuji started the journey of colllecting the Kalis that had fallen form the Malaji.

Giving them the Mantra was like giving them to Shree Thakurji and that's another meaning of the Bramsambandh mantra ke ' Hey Krishna Hu Tamaro Das Chu ' we are offering all that is ours to Shree Thakurji's Charankamal. Tan-Man-Dhan- Atma-Maya- Seva-Shena- Samaran,"Krishna seva sada kariya "etc. Which all Pushtimargiya Vaishnav must do.

Jai Shree Krishna,

Thank you so much Vasantji, that’s precisely the story I was looking for, lovely narration. It’s evident from this story that we are residents of Kunj and Pyara Mahaprabuji came down to guide us the way back home. After acquiring Brahmasaband, beloved Thakorji comes and stays with us in the form of a Chitraji or Deity. When Mahaprabuji established Seva within Vaishnavs home’s he said

Hu Maru Sarvasav Tamne Arpan karu Chu

This sentence illustrates the fact that it’s the real Thakorji who is residing within our home. Our darshan of him is dependent upon our perception and love for Thakorji

Shree Vallabhraiji Mahodayshree stated at the Utsav on the 17th of December in London that we should never use the words I or me in seva or Bhagvad naam, always remember that we are able to carry out seva and do Bhagvad Naam through Mahaprabuji and Thakorji’s grace.

Once we’ve conquered this theory our lives will be full of bliss and we will obtain the topmost enjoyment in Navda Bhakti Seva.

Thank you Hetalji for your kind words, its nice to see you back on Krishna Seva

Jai Shri Krishna,

Sitalji thanks for your kind words. Smile

Sometimes I feel like asking basic question which may sound silly to some vaishnavs Rolling Eyes many times have heard, read Navdha bhakti word but unfortunately even today I don't know the meaning of the same.

Jai Shree Krishna

Hetalji, sometimes a question may seem basic but when hearing the answer one realises that the actual meaning is so in-depth and imperative. At the beginning when we first started attending Pusthidasji’s satsang, we were a bit nervous about asking certain question as they were very basic, however it turned out that whenever we thought we had asked a very simple question, we would do hours long satsang on that topic and it just made us recognize the fact that it is important to know the basics and build a foundation first.

The amazing thing about Pusthimarg is that there is a reason behind everything we do and there is quite often lots of stories related to the particular activity we carry out in seva or say. It is vital to understand what we are doing and why, or else we wouldn’t be able to progress. We all need to learn the basics properly so we can build on our foundation, the base is very important, or else you would not have a leg to stand on and develop. Besides, every satsang we do on tibari is fun and helps us obtain closeness with Thakorji. I think that No question is silly when its relevant to Pusthimarg and is bhagvad naam, on the contrary question's show intelligence Wink

Quote:
Bhakti can be done in many ways but in Pushtimarga the Bhakti is mainly done in nine ways and is known as Navdha Bhakti.

1) SHRAVANA (LISTENING)
2) KIRTANA (SINGING)
3) SMARANA (THINKING)
4) PADA SEVA (SERVING THE FEET)
5) ACARANA (TAKING THE REMAINS OF A SAMAGIRI/BHOG WHICH BECOMES PRASAD OR DRINKING THE WATER WITH WHICH WE WASHED OUR THAKURJI'S FEET)
6) VANDANA (SELF SURRENDER OR POSTRATION BEFORE OUR SHRI THAKURJI)
7)DASYA BHAV (FEELING OF SUBSERVANT)
8)SAKHYA BHAV (FRIENDSHIP)
9)ATMA NIVEDHANA (COMPLETE SURRENDER

The description above is copied from Pusthidasji’s, Vasantji’s and Unnatji’s postings, they have discussed this in-dept under the topic Bhakti; please have a read, as the explanations are wonderful
