Jai Shree Krishna to all vallah vaishnavs,

Can someone please explain why we celebrate Dussera in Pusthimarg?

After Nav-Villas all the nine sakhis do Vijaya that is to say the manorath is over and they are going, so they all get together to thank Shree Krishna and the day for thanking was Dashera and thus since that day we celebrate Dashera.

Please Pushtidas do elaborate on this. Thank you.

Jai Shri Krishna,

Ravana was killed by Lord Rama and that day was celeberated as Dashera. (Victory over Demons).

Dashera was also celeberated in Nandrai's house.
Shri Thakurji's shingaar is White Zari vastras and Javara is offered

Javare Paherut Shri Goverdhan Nath sunder mukh nirakh sukh upjut vraj jhun kiye sanath
Shevet zari shir paag latak rahi kulgi tame laal.-------

Jawara is offered because of Shri Swaminiji's bhav.

Shri Swamniji na charan na yavna bhav thi dharata aa yavankoor jawarah, Shri Swamniji no prabhu par Vijay sooch ve che. To aa hato teno bhav, ane nav devas thakorji ne chaapaa na vastro ave.

Jawara if I am not mistaken are tied in orange thread.
