Jai Shri krishna,

Once Nandraiji decided to go on a pilgrimage so he requested Madhumangal (son of Shandilya Muni being their priest.) to take him.

Madhumangal was very clever as we all know why ? because He was trained under _____________ (fill in the blanks)

Madhumangal bought Nandraiji to guess where Madhuvan

Nandraiji was little upset so he said "Madhumangal are you crazy? this place is for grazing the cows. What are you doing? I used to come here when I was young for grazing my cows I know this place so why do you say that this place is good for pilgrimage? Please explain.

Madhumangal replied 'Bava, you talk of your young age. But many years have passed to that. Now this place has become a place of pilgrimage."

Now dear vallabhi vaishnavs I will ask the same question which Shri Nandraiji had asked "HOW COME"??

Its because Thakorji had entered Madhuvan and played various Lila's with his devotees.

Jai Shri Krishna,

Yes Sitalji, Nandbaba was told that His son Shri Krishna and Shri Radharani had touched this land and since then it is become most divine and holy.

But you know Nandraiji he wanted proof as seeing is believing so a leela took place

There happen to come by a black donkey and it started rolling on the ground. Rolling in Vrajraj like that, the black donkey became absolutely white.

Seeing this Nandraiji was surprised. He asked Mahumangal a question which I want to ask you all

How did this black donkey become white?

Please do not reply the way Madhumangal did by saying lets ask the donkey Ha Ha Very Happy

Need a hint Rolling Eyes

Ok first find out who was this donkey ?

Vasantji, I do not know the answer so took Madhumangels advice and asked the Donkey in my mind how the change happened but there was no reply Crying or Very sad

So please let us know who the black Donkey was and how he became white.

Dattubhai, infact my reason to put this way is just to attract mostly all vaishnavs to paricipate and join in and mingle as some of them should be knowing this story.

So please join in and share the knowledge.

I prefer all join in and we can all enjoy the satsang instead of one writer and all silent readers.

Madhumangal replied 'Lets ask the donkey as if I tell you something you (Nandraiji) will not trust me".

So they both approached the donkey Idea

Nandraiji did his bhagwan smaran and then bowed both hands to that donkey and asked

"Who are you ? How could this happen ? I know you must be a pious soul or it is not possible so please speak up and tell me the facts in details and how often do you come here?."

The donkey started speaking in human language. He said,

" I am Tirthraj Prayag "

Did you get it Sitalji ?or will continue again.

can i try, thirth ke raja. when he rolled over vraj bhumi he got purified and became white in colour. am i correct?

Yes Kavitabhen you got it correct and for you Sitalji lets continue with the story.

"I am Tirthraj Prayag" The sinful people take bath in my waters and throw away all their big sins in me. So I have become full of sins. To wash out those sins, I have taken the shape of a black donkey, because sin is always black and the nature of the donkey is to carry weight of others.

Rolling in this Vrajraj my all sins have been destroyed and I have become white. This land of Vraj is so holy. You have seen it with your own eyes. There is no other holy place then Vraj.

Nandrai asked " Hey Tirthraj, Please tell me, since when this land of Vraj has become holy?"

Prayagraj replied : "Your son Shri Krishna and Shri Radharani had touched this land. Since then it is become most divine and holy. Even if all the tirths of Trilok get to gether even then, they cannot compare themselves with Vrajraj".

Nandbava hearing the story also rolled in Vrajraj.

This leela took place in Madhuvan also vaishnavs I hope you know there is Shri Mahaprabhuji's bethak in Madhuvan so please do visit when in Vraj.
You will have the pleasure of Zari and Charansparsh.There is a small temple of Dhruvji too in the town.

"Dhani Madhuvanki Madhuri,
Dhani Madhikar, Dhani Mor,
Mil Rahe maha Mit son,
Dhani Mrugi Mal chakor"

Meaning

The sweetness of Madhuvan is absolutely adorable.
The Bramars taking its sweetness are adorable.
Seeing the sweetness, dancing peacocks are adorable.
In such Madhuvan the four legged dears and birds like chakor get near to their beloved Shri Thakurji and they are also adorable.
