Sure Jagdish bhai.
I am sure that you are aware about the incident where Shree Krishna had to lift the Govardhan Parvat to save the Brajwaasi's from Indra Dev's anger (Heavy Rains). Now lord had carried the entire mountain on his little finger for 7 days, until Indra Dev realized his mistake and asked for forgiveness.
Post that the rains were stopped by him and Indra dev offered bhog to shree krishna. Now as per pushtimarg dharam, Lord gives us 8 jhakhis in a day...
1. Mangla
2. Shringar
3. Gwal
4. Rajbhog
5. Utthapan
6. Bhog
7. Aarti
8. Shayan
Which also means that lord had not been offered any bhog for last 56 occasions (that is 8 jhakhis * 7 Days).
Hence, Chappan Bhog!! |
